Visualization of magnetic fields with cylindrical vector beams in a warm atomic vapor

We propose and demonstrate an experimental implementation for the observation of magnetic fields from spatial features absorption profiles in a warm atomic vapor. A radially polarized vector beam that traverses vapor will generate pattern with petal-like structure by mediation transverse field (TMF). The rotates when azimuthal angle TMF is changed, while its contrast decreases longitudinal component increases. By analyzing intensity distribution transmitted pattern, we can determine strength. Our work provides framework investigating 3D distributions based on atoms.
